Project MAP-TEC is the Master's Apprentice's plan to build a state-of-the-art training facility to provide classroom space and hands-on labs for students, showcasing innovative technologies in renewable energy along with traditional careers in the skilled trades industry.

Project MAP-TEC will enable program growth to double capacity and provide students the opportunity to learn about various careers in traditional trades along with exposure to innovative technologies in renewable energy, such as cold climate heat pumps, geothermal, solar, energy storage and EV Charging, creating a "Virtual Power Plant." These technologies will provide students with hands-on experience in the Master's Apprentice living lab environment to equip them with the basic skills needed to begin an established apprenticeship or a new hybrid career.
